Shah Rukh Khan’s latest movie, ‘Dunki,’ is revealed to have the lowest budget among the star’s films in recent years.
Rajkumar Hirani, known for smart money management, has produced Dunki with only INR 85 crore, making it Shah Rukh Khan’s least expensive film since Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

As per Pinkvilla, the basic amount doesn’t include payments to the cast and crew. However, when you factor in talent fees, marketing, and printing costs, the budget rises to INR 120 crores.
One reason for the lower budget could be the completion of the shoot in just 75 days.
Dunki sets surprising record for Shah Rukh Khan
Interestingly, Dunki became profitable even before its release, thanks to lucrative non-theatrical rights, giving the filmmaker a profit of around INR 100 crore.
In other news, the superstar, riding high on the success of two big hits – Pathaan and Jawan, has revealed the first track of the film, Lutt Putt Gaya.
Sharing on Instagram, the Don star wrote, “Tere Dil Mein Tent Lagaunga Tere Ishq mein Goteh Khaunga Main toh gaya… Lutt Putt Gaya 30 days to the journey of Love…. #Dunki. #DunkiDrop2 – #LuttPuttGaya song out tomorrow!”
Meanwhile, Khan and Hirani’s Dunki film is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide on December 21.
