DSP Involved in Cross-Border Drug Smuggling Via Drones
Anti-Narcotics Force has registered a case of drone smuggling against former DSP Mazhar and his house has also been sealed. Sources say that the former DSP has managed to escape abroad cleverly.
Earlier, the Anti-Narcotics Force had registered a case against a DSP and other police officials for smuggling drugs through drones. ANF Lahore registered a case against DSP Mazhar and others under section 9C and other severe provisions.

According to sources, four police officials including sub-inspector Mehmood, ASI Kashif, and head constable Shakeel have been named in the case. Apart from this, the accused Fayaz alias Pippa is involved in cross-border drug smuggling and has been a confidant of DSP.
During a raid in the border area on August 8, ANF Lahore unearthed a network of heroin smugglers from a drone and added that a policeman was also involved in drug smuggling. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
Earlier on July 7, a drug-carrying drone worth millions crashed in Lahore’s Kahna Town. This drone crash exposed drug trafficking through drones. After which the investigation was started.
