Court will broadcast Bhutto’s hearing live
Islamabad: The highest court has said it will show the Zulfiqar Bhutto presidential reference hearing on TV.
Yesterday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who leads the Pakistan People’s Party, asked the Supreme Court to broadcast live the hearing about Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s execution.
In the request, it was mentioned that since he is Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s grandson, he wants fairness. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto always worked for the law’s importance, and his death is a mark on the justice system.
The request mentioned that showing the case live on TV is crucial to share the facts with the public.

It’s important to know that the discussion on the president’s inquiry about the legal execution of the former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto will happen on Tuesday, December 12. A 9-member panel led by the Chief Justice of Pakistan will conduct the discussion.
In 2011, the then President Asif Ali Zardari submitted an inquiry about the legal execution of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The then Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry held 6 discussions on the case until December 2012, but no decision related to the inquiry was reached.
