Chauvin’s condition is reported as stable following the incident at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson.
The FBI in Phoenix and Minneapolis acknowledged the prison attack without naming the perpetrator. Chauvin’s attorney, Greg Erickson, is in the process of confirming the details. The Bureau of Prisons confirmed an assault on an incarcerated individual in Tucson, later identified as Chauvin.
