CIA’s AI Chatbot
Yet, it’s an unexpected twist that even the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is slated to join this trend by creating a chatbot akin to ChatGPT.
This revelation emerged from a recent Bloomberg report.
As per the report, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) chatbot will undergo training using publicly accessible information and will aid agents in validating various response types.
However, the specific nature of this public data remains unclarified.
Randy Nixon, head of the CIA’s Open-Source Enterprise Division, conveyed to the news agency that the global pace of progress is swift, transcending traditional mediums such as newspapers, radio, television, and the Internet.
He mentioned that the forthcoming AI chatbot will be deployed within the US intelligence community.
He noted that this tool will empower agents to delve into specifics, pose inquiries, and receive concise data summaries.

He refrained from specifying which AI platform will serve as the foundation for this chatbot.
Once operational, this chatbot will be accessible to 18 intelligence agencies, with its use restricted from the general public and members of Congress.
As per Randy Nixon, privacy regulations in the United States will be enforced for this instrument.
He remarked that over the past eight decades, we’ve amassed a substantial volume of information, to the extent that utilizing it is frequently impractical. In such a scenario, this tool will offer assistance.
