The highest court will listen to the president’s request about the choice to carry out Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the person who started Pakistan People’s Party and was once the Prime Minister.
A group of 9 judges from the highest court will listen to the president’s request on December 12.
The main judge in Pakistan, Qazi Faiz Isa, will lead the group of judges.
Bhutto execution review set for Supreme Court
In the big group of judges, there are Justices Sardar Tariq Masood, Mansoor Ali Shah, Yahya Afridi, Aminuddin Khan, Jamal Khan Mandukhel, Mohammad Ali Mazhar, Hasan Ali Rizvi, and Musrat Hilali.
Back in 2011, when the People’s Party was in charge, they, through President Asif Ali Zardari, brought up a matter to the Supreme Court about Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s execution.

At that time, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry of the Supreme Court put together a team of 11 judges, and they had 6 sessions about the case from January 3, 2012, to November 12, 2012. However, no decision was made.
Now, after almost 11 years, they are planning to re-examine the case.
