The Pakistan Bar Council raised objections against the current Chief Election Commissioner. In the announcement issued by the Pakistan Bar Council, it has been said that transparent and fair elections cannot be held under the supervision of the current Chief Election Commissioner.

The Pakistan Bar Council has expressed concern over the constituencies and has said that there are serious reservations about the constituencies, election procedures and distribution of seats made by the current Chief Election Commissioner.
The Bar Council called for the February 8 elections to be conducted in a transparent manner and said that the general elections should be conducted on the scheduled date and be transparent, all political parties and independent candidates should be given a level playing field in the elections.

It cannot turn a blind eye to the issues, instead of validating every action of the commission, the Supreme Court should take notice of these contradictions. The main purpose of the Bar Council is not just elections but free, fair and transparent elections.
