Australia has announced the final squad for the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2024.

They have retained the 15-member starting squad. 2 players Matthew Short and Jake Fraser Magric have been added to the traveling reserves.
Mitchell Marsh will lead the Australian team during the mega event. Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, David Warner, and Adam Zampa are also part of the squad.
Australia will play their first T20 World Cup match against Oman on June 5 in Barbados. Group B includes England, Namibia, Oman, and Scotland along with Australia. The Australian squad includes Mitchell Marsh, Ashton Agar, Pete Cummins, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoins, Matthew Wade, David Warner, and Adam Zampa.

Jack Fraser, McGurk, and Matt Short have been in the traveling reserves.
It should be noted that any team can change their squad till May 25. After which any change will require the approval of the ICC’s Event Technical Committee.
A total of 20 qualifying teams have been divided into four groups of 5 each in the World Cup. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Eight round.
The teams that reach the Super Eight round will be divided into two groups of 4 and 4, of which the top two teams from both groups will qualify for the semi-finals and then the winners of the semi-finals will play the finals.

The semi-finals of the event will be played in Guyana and Trinidad on June 26 and 27 respectively, while the World Cup final will be held in Barbados on June 29.
