The bail pleas of Maryam Aurangzeb and Javed Latif, along with their plea for exemption from court appearance, were dismissed by the Anti-Terrorism Court.
ATC rejects the bail pleas of Maryam and Javed
Arshad Javed, the presiding judge, oversaw the proceedings of the PML-N leaders who are accused of delivering inflammatory speeches against the state.
While presenting their case, the defense counsel requested the court to excuse Maryam Aurangzeb and Javed Latif from attending the proceedings. However, the judge declined the plea and rejected the bail bonds for both individuals.

The court has postponed the case until November 25. The Anti-Terrorism Court has asked the prosecution department to provide a response to the former information minister’s request for acquittal in a case related to provocative speech against the state.
The case was filed with the Green Town police station.
