Asia Cup Venue Update-Chairman of the Management Committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board Zaka Ashraf contacted the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Jay Shah regarding the Asia Cup.
Zaka Ashraf talking to Jay Shah said that there is a possibility of more rain in Sri Lanka, there is no possibility of rain in Pakistan, so think about shifting the matches to Pakistan.
He said that Asia Cup is a big tournament, it should not be affected due to rain.
Jai Shah replied to Zaka Ashraf that we will consider the situation. Shifting of Asia Cup matches has created new difficulties for ACC.
On the other hand, sources say that the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) may decide on the transfer of the Asia Cup matches in the next 24 to 36 hours.Sources say that shifting the Asia Cup matches from Colombo due to bad weather has become a problem for the Asian Cricket Council.
According to the sources, the Indian Cricket Board is not satisfied with the hotel in Dambulla city, while the broadcasters have objected to the hotel arrangements in Hambantota, another Sri Lankan city with good weather.
