Amazon has entered the space industry by sending two of its prototype internet satellites into space. It will directly compete with Starlink and SpaceX.This 3,000-satellite project will allow Amazon to create a large network to provide Internet access to areas with limited connectivity.
Amazon just launched a test satellite from orbit in Florida. And Amazon aims to use the project to collect real-world data. It plans to launch operational satellites next year and begin testing with customers by the end of 2024.

Amazon’s Purpose of Launching Internet Satellites
The main purpose of Amazon’s Kuiper network is to provide internet to remote areas using satellite single lines. While SpaceX and Starlink are also in front of it, which is the project of Elon Musk. So it may take time for Amazon to compete with Starlink as the internet space has already made a lot of progress.
