Arif Alvi’s Impending Election Announcement
As per the information available, Arif Alvi has the potential to disclose the election date at any given time.
Insiders have indicated that during the President’s discussion with the Minister of Law, the matter of divulging the election date was deliberated.
Insiders assert that the Ministry of Law holds the view that the prerogative to announce the election date lies with the Election Commission.

She firmly stated that the nation cannot tolerate such disruptions caused by state and economic wrongdoers who are currently incarcerated.
Atta Tarar, a prominent leader of the League, argued that the term of Pakistan’s President had officially ended on September 9, designating him as the interim president.
He questioned the source of authority that allowed Alvi to announce an election date. Tarar asserted that the interim president’s tenure remains effective until the appointment of a new president.
