Islamabad – The Foreign Minister of Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis, has landed in the national capital for a three-day official trip to the South Asian country.

The Ministry of External Affairs released a declaration, announcing that the Swiss Foreign Minister of Affairs arrived in the nation and referred to Acting Secretary of State Dr. Syrus Sajjad Qazi.
The Foreign Office stated that a group of prominent Swiss Parliament members and top officials will also be embarking on a visit to Pakistan.

While in Pakistan, Mr. Cassis will engage with high-ranking individuals, such as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Minister of Climate Change Sherry Rehman, and various other officials.
The dignitaries on their visit will additionally tour the National Disaster Management Authority to strengthen the mutual collaboration in handling emergencies.
Pakistan and Switzerland have upheld diplomatic ties for many years. Commerce between the two nations has consistently flourished throughout the years, and Switzerland stands as a prominent trading ally of Pakistan within Europe.
