The government has announced the new petrol price for the next 15 days.
The Government Raises the Petrol Price:
The price of petrol has been increased by 7 rupees 45 paise per liter. The new price of petrol is 265 rupees 61 paise per liter. The price of diesel has been increased by 9 rupees 56 paise per liter. The new price of diesel has gone up to Rs 277 45 paise per liter.
The price of light diesel has been increased by Rs 9 88 paise. Apart from this, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 10 5 paise per liter. The new prices of petroleum products will be applicable from July 1, the notification has been issued.

On the other hand, during the last financial year, all the records of the prices of petroleum products were broken. In the last financial year, citizens are forced to buy the most expensive petrol and diesel in the history of the country. Under the terms of the IMF, for the first time in the history of the country, a levy of Rs. 60 per liter was imposed on petrol and diesel.
During the financial year starting from July 1, 2023, and ending on June 30, 2024, the net increase in the prices of petroleum products is Rs. 9 to 72 paisa per liter, while at present, diesel and petrol are levied at the rate of Rs. 60 and 60 per liter respectively.
