Jail trial has extended
Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the intra-court appeal of Imran Khan against the jail trial in the Cypher case, in which Attorney General, Special Prosecutor and Imran Khan’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja appeared in the court.
During the hearing, Justice Mian Gul Hasan said that the court was set up in a 10-by-10 room in the jail. The special prosecutor said that the first court room in the jail had a capacity of only 15 to 16 people.
The Attorney General said that there are no facilities for the court in the jail, the courtroom being small does not mean that it is a closed trial due to the capacity of less people. A relatively large room has been found.
